I was just integrating Trust Swiftly into a project for a large online bank in Kazakhstan — we were launching a line of express loans where it was necessary to approve a client from scratch in 10 minutes. And without remote identity verification, frankly speaking, it would have been impossible to do anything in the legal field. As for Trust Swiftly — they really have an advanced approach. It’s not just uploading a passport photo and a selfie. They use multi-level verification: first, a document scan (automatically determines authenticity and validity), then a selfie with live verification (analysis of facial expressions, blinks, head turns), and then — if necessary — a short video or a voice biometrics session. All this, I repeat, works automatically, with a minimum of manual moderation. Integration via API was quite flexible — we were able to embed their interface into our application, while customizing the display to match the corporate style. But here are the nuances: Be sure to think through fallback scenarios. Sometimes users are using a weak internet connection or old phones — in such cases, you need the ability to repeat the step or switch to a simplified verification (for example, without video). Device support. Some users on Android have problems with the webcam — we recommended using the built-in application, not the browser. This is a small thing, but it saves a lot of nerves. User training. We added short prompts on the screen, such as “Turn your head to the right”, “Make sure your face is lit”, remote identity proofing in their performance is a real step forward, and in my opinion, one of the most mature implementations on the market.

I was just going through identification through Trust Swiftly as a client for a remote employment platform. Nothing complicated: passport, selfie, a couple of head movements, and you're done. It took 3-4 minutes maximum. So from the user's point of view, everything is quite convenient, especially if the interface is clear. Remote identity verification is no longer scary, on the contrary, it is perceived as a guarantee that you will not run into scammers.
